Welcome to My Ship ("App"), a mobile application designed to assist users in preparing for DG, STCW, USCG, and Philippines MARINA exams. The App offers quizzes, study resources, and a community discussion feature, among other tools. By using My Ship, you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using My Ship, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions or policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Account Creation and Login
My Ship allows account creation through Google and Apple login methods. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities occurring under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Features and Subscriptions
Free Version: The free version of My Ship includes advertisements and provides access to core features.
Premium Subscription: Subscribing to our premium service removes ads and unlocks additional features. In-app subscription payments are managed by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Subscriptions are non-refundable.
4. User Content and Conduct
User-Generated Content: Users can share questions, answers, text, images, documents, and links in discussion sections and chats. By sharing content, you grant My Ship a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and distribute your content within the App.
Content Restrictions: You may not post or share any content that:
- Contains offensive language, hate speech, or discriminatory material.
- Violates intellectual property rights of others.
- Includes viruses, malware, or harmful software.
Prohibited Conduct: Users are expected to behave respectfully. Any abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language or behavior, especially within chats and discussions, may result in warnings, suspension, or a permanent ban from My Ship.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
My Ship and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the App without our explicit permission.
6. Disclaimer of Affiliation
The information provided by My Ship is for general informational purposes only. All information on the app is provided in good faith, however, we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information on the app. Under no circumstance shall we have any liability to you for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the app or reliance on any information provided on the app. Your use of the app and reliance on any information on the app is solely at your own risk. My Ship may contain questions, answers, and related illustrations for exam preparation purposes, including material relevant to United States Coast Guard (USCG), United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and Directorate General of Shipping, India (DG Shipping) exams. Questions, answers, and related illustrations may be owned and distributed by the United States Coast Guard, the United States Federal Communications Commission, or the Directorate General of Shipping, India. My Ship is not affiliated with the United States Coast Guard, the United States Federal Communications Commission, the Directorate General of Shipping India, or any other government entity and makes no promises, claims, representations, or guarantees about the completeness, accuracy, relevance, or adequacy of the questions, answers, illustrations, or other content in the app. We disclaim liability for any errors or omissions. We do not promise or represent that the information in this app is relevant to examinations administered by the United States Coast Guard, United States Federal Communications Commission, Directorate General of Shipping India, or other parties. The app may contain (or you may be sent through the app) links to other websites or content belonging to or originating from third parties or links to websites and features in banners or other advertising. Such external links are not investigated, monitored, or checked for accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness by us. We do not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any information offered by third-party websites linked through the app or any website or feature linked in any banner or other advertising. We will not be a party to or in any way be responsible for monitoring any transaction between you and third-party providers of products or services.

My Ship may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party resources. Any interactions or transactions you have with these third parties are solely between you and the third party.
8. Advertisements and Promotions
My Ship displays ads within the free version of the App. These ads are provided by third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of advertisements or promotions displayed within My Ship. If you click on an ad or engage with a promotion, the advertiser’s terms will govern your interaction with them.
9. Feedback System
We value user feedback to improve our App. By submitting feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant My Ship the right to use, share, and commercialize this feedback without obligation or compensation to you.
10. Termination of Use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or otherwise misuse My Ship. Upon termination, your right to access and use My Ship will immediately cease, and any user data or content may be deleted.
11. Limitation of Liability
My Ship is provided "as-is," and we make no representations or warranties of any kind regarding its reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Ship and its affiliates are not liable for any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App, including data loss or interruption.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Ship, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update or change these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you within the App or by email. By continuing to use My Ship after the changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
